Breast cancer Can Be REDUCED to 77% with Vit D Reveals Study
PC. Luis Quiroz Ravines
Breast cancer and other types of cancer can be reduced with exposure to the sun. A recent study by Creighton University School of Medicine in Nebraska, USA, has revealed that supplementation with vitamin D and calcium may reduce the risk of cancer by up to an astonishing 77%.
This includes breast cancer, colon cancer, skin cancer and other forms of cancer. Risk factors include hormone replacement therapy, lack of physical exercise, obesity, ionizing radiation, alcohol, first menstruation at early age, etc. In breast cancer can occur swollen lymph nodes, shortness of breath, bone pain, yellow skin.
Breast cancer and others can be reduced by up to 77% with vitamin D and calcium

Types of cancer in statistics
Ovarian cancer
3% of cancers in women are related to ovarian cancer. The fifth leading cause of death from cancer among women refers to ovarian cancer and is the most dangerous and mortiferous among the different types of cancer of gynecological origin
Breast cancer
Almost 12% of American women, or 1 in 8 women, will face problems of breast cancer in the course of their life
This year, 2016, 246,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer were detected and more than 60,000 non-invasive cancers within the United States.
Colon cancer
With age increases colon cancer and in the United States is the second cause of death. People older than 75-84 are at increased risk of dying from colon cancer.
Prostate cancer
Prostate cancer is the most common among men after skin cancer. During their lifetime 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. Each year more than 180,000 new cases are presented.
Approximately 1 man in 7 will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime.
In the United States, behind prostate cancer, prostate cancer is the leading cause of death, an estimated 1 in 39 men will die from prostate cancer.
Almost 3 million men diagnosed with prostate cancer are still alive and will probably die for another cause.
Pancreatic cancer
Of all cancers, pancreatic cancer is the most deadly, after diagnosis, only 8% of patients will remain alive. By the year 2030, pancreatic cancer is predicted to occupy second place as the cause of death in the United States, surpassing even colon cancer
Main treatments for breast cancer
- Chemotherapy
- Radiation therapy for breast cancer.
- Conservative breast surgery (lumpectomy)
- Lymph node surgery for breast cancer.
- Mastectomy.
- Hormone Therapy for Breast Cancer
Depending on the stage and type of breast cancer, there are several ways to cope with this type of cancer.
For example, radiation and surgery only attack the tumor without affecting other areas of the body and by this characteristic are called local therapies and are generally applied for cancers in early stages.
For more advanced cancers, systemic treatments are used, which may include drugs administered to the bloodstream or ingested orally. These treatments include hormone therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, etc.

Creighton University School of Medicine Study
This research provides strong evidence that vitamin D is the most simple and effective medicine against cancer, long surpassing the benefits of any anticancer drug known to modern science.
The study involved 1,179 healthy women in rural areas of Nebraska. A group of women was given about 1500 mg daily calcium and about 1100 IU of vitamin D daily while another group, placebo group, was given pills containing no calcium or vitamin D.
After 4 years of study the group receiving calcium and vitamin D showed an impressive 77% reduction in cancer risk due to daily supplementation.
Close relationship between cancer and vitamin D
It should be noted that these surprising effects were achieved with what nutritionists consider a low dose of vitamin D. Exposure to sunlight, which creates even more vitamin D in the body was not considered and calcium provided was in the form of carbonate calcium and no high ranking as calcium malate or aspartate. What is the significance of this study ..?
It means that if you take calcium high quality and get a proper and rational exposure to sunlight or take vitamin D quality, such as from fish oil, you could have a likely reduction lower risk of cancer up to 77 % as the study suggests.
Naturally, the pharmaceutical industry does not agree with the results of this and other studies suggest that exposure to natural sunlight allows your skin manufactures its own anti cancer medicine, ie vitamin D.
The idea that the drug industry against cancer lose about 80% of patients due to the spread of this type of education about vitamin D scares investors could be jeopardized millions of dollars in profits from this area.
Exposure to sunlight creates more vitamin D
Sun exposure should however be carefully and for short periods of 5 to 10 minutes maximum, avoiding the possible long periods of exposure between 10 am. And 4 pm when the sun's rays are most intense. Remember that one day prolonged sun exposure can cause burns and increase your risk of skin cancer.
Most nutritionists agree that a suitable dose of vit. D daily should be 1000 to 1400 IU and recommendations for calcium intake vary depending on the age and needs of each person. In general, adults should get 1,200 milligrams (mg) of calcium daily.
The total calcium intake to 2000 to 2500 milligrams per day from dietary sources and supplements appears to be safe. The best source of calcium are foods rich in this mineral, such as dairy and the best source of vitamin D the rational exhibition to sunlight in hours of less intensity-
