The United Nations Organization,, reveals that the planet has warmed to levels never seen before in the last 2000 years

And the Intergovernmental Commission of Experts on Climate Change says in its latest report that the signs are alarming, irrefutable and Humanity is in RED CODE

A National Geographic report from some time ago warned that in a relatively short time due to polar melting, thousands of coastal cities would be under the sea, including New York.

My story is a desperate cry to alert the world of the very serious threat to humanity and the planet

THE LAST DROP OF WATER
ON EARTH.

The sky over the earth was clean, immaculate blue., Intensely blue, almost wickedly blue.

Below, on all the ends of the earth, stood millions of men and women, weak and trembling, on the verge of death, with a supreme effort they stood and stared at the sky; anxious, almost without breathing, almost without moving, waiting, anxiously awaiting, to see the last drop of wáter fall from the celestial blue.

. The water had been extinguished on earth, slowly, distressingly, steadily and without water, all that remained was to wait for the final moment; but before that definitive moment, all of humanity longed to see the last drop of water fall from the infinite sky.

Like invisible prophets, that no one saw or heard, numerous scientists were warning of climate change, global warming of the earth, the uncontrollable increase in carbon, and the tragic and inevitable end of the planet.

But selfishness, ambition, the vanity of men and women, and supreme irresponsibility towards the future, pushed them frantically to continue polluting, destroying, heating the atmosphere, and suffocating the planet.

The man was only interested in TODAY, never tomorrow.

And what had to come arrived: the rivers and water sources dried up, the snow-capped mountains disappeared, the sea became extremely acidic, the plants and trees died and only desolation and death remained; and near the end, a few million men and women, scattered over all the earth, all standing, anguished, impatient, trembling, looked up to heaven and waited.

They looked like millions of nervous cartoons, excited, famished, hungry, but above all thirsty to see even one last drop of water.

It is not known how, but everyone knew that there would be one last drop of water that would fall from the sky: that is why the wait, the anguished wait, the final wait that kept them weakly standing with their eyes up, focused, concentrated towards a point imprecise of the sky that was ruthlessly clean and blue.

Suddenly, the entire humanity launched in unison, a !..OH..! and the silence became total, profound, absolute.

The drop of water began to fall

It was a drop of pure, crystalline, transparent water that fell slowly, / very slowly fell to earth. And when it finally touched the surface of the planet, the drop of water burst into millions of twinkling, multi-colored lights and the miracle happened. The fields began to turn green, the springs to fill with crystal clear waters, the trees to grow, the seas to their original purity, and life flourished again on earth; full, rich, and happy. And it all started again.

The last drop of water had been GOD.
