11 Tips to control high blood pressure naturally

High blood pressure is one of the most communes diseases and arises because the blood flowing through the arteries at a higher pressure than normal.

In general, it is considered normal blood pressure below 120 over 80. At these levels the risk of heart disease or stroke is reduced. Follow a healthy lifestyle to maintain a pressure artrial at ideal levels.

Naturally control your high blood pressure

The following tips can help you achieve this goal

1-  Reduce salt intake

The Blood Pressure Association recommended lowering salt intake, but not only the salt itself also processed foods containing salt in their preparation; cereals, crackers, prepared foods may contain up to 80% of the salt we consume daily. The salt extracts fluids and increases blood pressure in the arteries.

2-  A daily yogurt can be useful

A study by the University of Minnesota in the US says it is possible that consumption of naturally occurring calcium can make blood vessels more flexible, and this would expand a little and maintain lower pressure. So that a daily consumption of yogurt can provide this natural calcium and risk  and reduce the risk of high blood pressure.

3- Jog weekly or practice some exercise

Any regular physical activity can be useful in lowering blood pressure because it strengthens the heart and this can pump more blood with less effort. Different studies have shown that physical activity increases the absorption of oxygen and lowers blood pressure. Walk, jog, swim or practice any exercise regularly to keep your blood pressure under control.

4- Lose weight

Weight reduction, even a few kilos can have a major impact on blood pressure. With  more weight, the heart works  more and this increased effort can lead to high blood pressure.

5- Eat bananas

The British Medical Journal published a study indicating that consumption of bananas, rich in potassium, can reduce hypertension and saving lives every year. To control the balance of fluids in the body, potassium is an essential mineral and adequate levels of liquids in the body can help blood pressure.

6- Work less

If you are always busy, it will be difficult to feed healthily and exercise regularly. So organize your tasks, eat healthy and reduce stress.

7- Do not smoke

If you smoke your body will produce more adrenaline, your heart will beat faster, work harder and can increase your blood pressure. Not forgetting that smoking causes to long-term cancer and other difficult diseases to treat.

8- If you drink coffee changes to decaffeinated coffee

Three cups of coffee increase blood pressure in 3 points and the effects last until evening. Up to 7% can lower high blood pressure drinking a cup of beet juice, so says a study published in the journal Hypertension. The high nitrate content of beet appear to be responsible for this salutary effect. Spinach can also have a similar effect.  

10- If you snore seek help

If you suffer from obstructive sleep apnea, may be 50% more at risk for high blood pressure. Seek medical help, there are now solutions that can eliminate or reduce the problem.

11- Breathe deeply

Practice some yoga anti stress postures, practicing tai chi and learn to breathe slowly and long: imhale deeply and exhale slowly and eliminate stress. Practice 5 minutes daily in the morning and evening.

With the index finger firmly press the right nostril

And while you press, inspire deeply

While pressing the nostril, expel air vigorously through the mouth

Repeat  the excersice 7 times.
