A hair mask that soothes the scalp, removes dandruff, prevents hair loss, reduces appearance of split ends, nourishes and moisturizes intensely, communicating incredible natural shine and softness to the hair, it seems it is a mask of high hairdressing and own hair care salons for luxury and high cost.
Could not be farther from the truth. This is a homemade mask based on three elements that probably you have them in your kitchen: honey, cinnamon and olive oil
Honey for hair care
Over time and since ancient times honey was considered a universal medicine. The Romans and Greeks used to increase physical endurance, enhance the immune system and enhance mental agility. In modern times, apart from its beneficial qualities for health, beauty world produces a range of cosmetics including honey in their formulas and which are used for hair care and skin.
To soften her skin Cleopatra bathed in milk and honey and Poppea, Nero's wife took care of her skin and hair with honey. The Greeks Romans and Egyptians had hives around 2400 BC,
Honey is full of nutrients and antioxidants useful for feeding the hair follicles that contain the living part of hair and beauty experts use it to get beautiful hair and perfect skin natural moisturizer. In addition to its hygroscopic property, honey is soothing, emollient and antibacterial. Keeps hair moisturized, full-bodied, shiny and nourished.
Cinnamon and hair
The antibacterial properties of cinnamon are widely known and cinnamaldehyde and eugenol components provide antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties that may be useful in stimulating hair follicles, eliminating dandruff and other fungal infections. Cinnamon also improves blood flow and stimulates hair growth.
There are numerous benefits of cinnamon for hair, because of its different vitamins and minerals, cinnamon returns the hair's natural shine, hydrates the scalp, strengthens blood vessels, prevents hair loss, restores split ends, active blood circulation and stimulates hair growth, alleviate inflammation and irritation of the scalp, it eliminates dandruff, protects from ultraviolet radiation and gives the hair a healthy natural shine.
Olive oil and hair
Olive oil is rich in vitamins E, A and antioxidants which helps protect the keratin and hair moisture seals. Perfectly replaces commercial silicone conditioners that give a false sense of momentary softness, instead olive oil restores the natural moisture and gives it a healthy and shiny hair look. On the other hand eliminates accumulation of sebum that hinders the formation of new hair follicles and natural hair growth.
When it comes to hair, skin and beauty, olive oil is a real source of health. In the winter months adds moisture and weight to dry, damaged hair.
